gCalcD: Changing the Scales

You can change the scales either by pressing the Zoom buttons or by using your mouse.

• Using your mouse:
  Hold down the Ctrtl key and click on a point on an axis. That point will be labelled 1 and becomes the new unit and the graphs are re-drawn to reflect the change of scale.

You can control major ticks and minor ticks on the axes by entering data in the text boxes provided and pressing OK, (you need to press the Draw Graph button instead when graphing with Function Grapher 3D). The graph(s) will be redrawn with new labelling/ticks.

New! You can use pi or e or pi/2 or sqrt(5) or , in general, any positve numeric expression for major and minor ticks.

By checking the Show Grids checkbox, the grid lines are drawn every unit interval.
